The New York Federal Bureau of Investigation has filed an indictment to urgently arrest 3 individuals who are charged with information theft and wire fraud conspiracy. One of them is the former Coinbase manager who quit his job in May of 2022.
Mr. Ishan Wahi – the former Coinbase manager has been accused of disclosing information about tokens that were about to be listed on the Coinbase exchange to his brother Nikhil Wahi and the related accomplice Sameer Ramani to profiteers about $1.5 million by buying these tokens before the listing time and selling after listing time.
The indictment states that Mr. Ishan and his accomplices make profits from those listed tokens: $7,000 profit from TRIBE, $13,000 from Alchemix, Gala ( GALA), Ethereum Name Service (ENS), Powerledger (POWR), and $900,000 from XYO.
